- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons red vinegar (or substitute another vinegar)
- 1 red chili pepper, or chili flakes to taste
Instructions
- Combine Base Ingredients: Add the roasted red peppers, crumbled feta cheese, olive oil, and red vinegar to a food processor.
- Add Chili for Heat: Wearing gloves, chop the red chili pepper in half and add half of it to the food processor.
- Blend Until Smooth: Process the mixture until the dip is smooth and well combined.
- Adjust Spice Level: Taste the dip, and if you desire more heat, add more chopped chili pepper or chili flakes and blend again until smooth. Adjust according to your spice tolerance.
Notes
- Wear gloves when handling chili peppers to avoid skin irritation.
- You can substitute the red vinegar with apple cider vinegar or white wine vinegar if desired.
- For less heat, reduce or omit the chili pepper.
- This dip can be served immediately or refrigerated for a few hours to let flavors meld.
