Description
Creamy, citrusy, and wonderfully refreshing, this sugar-free Brazilian lemonade is a keto-friendly twist on the classic. Made with fresh limes, sugar-free condensed milk, and powdered Swerve, it’s a low-carb way to cool down on hot days.
Ingredients
- 4 medium limes
- 1/2 cup sugar-free condensed milk
- 1/3 cup powdered Swerve Sweetener
- 4 cups water, divided
Instructions
- Wash and chop the limes into quarters or thick slices.
- Place limes, sugar-free condensed milk, sweetener, and 2 cups of water into a high-speed blender. Blend for 15–30 seconds (avoid over-blending to prevent bitterness).
- Strain the mixture through a fine sieve into a pitcher filled with ice. Discard the solids.
- Stir in the remaining 2 cups of water. Taste and adjust sweetness if desired.
- Serve immediately, chilled.
Notes
- Use fresh, thin-skinned limes for less bitterness.
- Do not over-blend; blending too long can release bitter oils from the lime peel.
- Chill all ingredients before making for best results.
- Optional: Add mint leaves or lime slices for garnish.
