Description

A super-refreshing, naturally sweet smoothie that blends juicy watermelon with tangy strawberries and a splash of lemon for bright, summery flavor.

Ingredients

  • 8 cups cubed seedless watermelon (fresh or frozen for a frostier smoothie)
  • 12 oz frozen strawberries (about 3 cups)
  • 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 1 lemon or 2 limes)
  • Optional: sweetener of choice if fruit isn’t perfectly ripe
  • Optional: 3–5 fresh mint leaves

Instructions

  1. Add watermelon cubes to a blender and blend until smooth (it should reduce to around 5 cups).
  2. Add frozen strawberries and lemon juice; blend again until completely smooth.
  3. Taste and, if needed, blend in a touch of sweetener or mint. Serve immediately or refrigerate for up to 1 day.

Notes

  • For an extra-cold, slushy texture, freeze the watermelon cubes first.
  • Swap lemon with lime for a different citrus vibe.
  • If your blender struggles, add 1–2 tablespoons water to get things moving.
  • Garnish with fresh mint or a squeeze of citrus just before serving.
