Ingredients
- 2 cups frozen peaches (or fresh, if preferred)
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup water
Instructions
- Combine Ingredients: In a small saucepan, add the frozen peaches, sugar, and water.
- Simmer: Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally to dissolve the sugar.
- Cook: Let it simmer for 10 minutes until the peaches have softened and the syrup has thickened slightly.
- Cool: Remove from heat and allow the mixture to cool for about 30 minutes.
- Strain: Once cooled, strain the syrup through a fine mesh strainer into a bottle or jar, removing the peach solids.
- Store: Store the peach syrup in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
