Ingredients
- 1 orange, sliced
- 1 lemon, sliced
- 4–5 cardamom pods, crushed
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh ginger
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1/4 teaspoon peppercorn
- 6 cups water
- Your choice of sweetener (optional)
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a large pot and bring to a boil over medium heat.
- Once boiling, cover the pot and reduce the heat to low. Let the mixture simmer for about 20 minutes, or until the citrus slices have softened.
- Strain the tea through a fine mesh sieve to remove the solids.
