Description

A refreshing and naturally sweetened lemonade made with honey simple syrup and fresh lemon juice, perfect for hot days or as a delightful drink to serve guests.

Ingredients

  • For the Honey Simple Syrup:
  • ¾ cup honey
  • ¾ cup water
  • For the Lemonade:
  • 1 cup fresh lemon juice (about 8 to 10 lemons)
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 to 1 ½ cups Honey Simple Syrup (adjust to taste)
  • Ice
  • Lemon slices for garnish

Instructions

  1. Make the Honey Simple Syrup: In advance, prepare the honey simple syrup by combining ¾ cup honey and ¾ cup water in a small saucepan. Heat over medium heat until the honey is dissolved. Let it cool.
  2. Prepare the Lemonade: In a pitcher, add 1 cup of the honey simple syrup, 1 cup of fresh lemon juice, and 4 cups of water. Stir well to combine.
  3. Taste and Adjust: Taste the lemonade and adjust the sweetness by adding up to ½ cup more of the honey simple syrup, depending on how sweet or tart you like your lemonade.
  4. Serve: Serve the lemonade over ice and garnish with lemon slices and a sprig of mint or wildflowers if desired.
