These easy Honey Glazed Sweet Potatoes require only four ingredients and just 15 minutes to make on the stovetop. Sweet, tender, and lightly spiced with cinnamon, they’re a perfect quick side dish for weeknights or holidays.
Ingredients
- 3 cups sweet potatoes, peeled and diced into 1-inch cubes
- ¼ cup olive oil (or vegetable oil)
- ⅓ cup honey
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Peel and dice sweet potatoes into 1-inch cubes.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, combine the sweet potatoes and olive oil. Stir to coat evenly.
- Cover and cook for 15–20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sweet potatoes are fork tender.
- Once tender, add honey and stir to coat.
- Sprinkle in the ground cinnamon and stir well. Cook for an additional 2 minutes.
- Remove from heat and serve warm.
Notes
- Use a sharp knife to cut sweet potatoes, as they are tougher than regular potatoes.
- For an extra touch of sweetness, add a bit of brown sugar with the honey.
