Description

These easy Honey Glazed Sweet Potatoes require only four ingredients and just 15 minutes to make on the stovetop. Sweet, tender, and lightly spiced with cinnamon, they’re a perfect quick side dish for weeknights or holidays.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups sweet potatoes, peeled and diced into 1-inch cubes
  • ¼ cup olive oil (or vegetable oil)
  • ⅓ cup honey
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Peel and dice sweet potatoes into 1-inch cubes.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, combine the sweet potatoes and olive oil. Stir to coat evenly.
  3. Cover and cook for 15–20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sweet potatoes are fork tender.
  4. Once tender, add honey and stir to coat.
  5. Sprinkle in the ground cinnamon and stir well. Cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  6. Remove from heat and serve warm.

Notes

  • Use a sharp knife to cut sweet potatoes, as they are tougher than regular potatoes.
  • For an extra touch of sweetness, add a bit of brown sugar with the honey.
  • This recipe is easy to double for larger gatherings or holiday meals.
