Description

This Honey Chili Garlic Shrimp is a sweet, spicy, and garlicky stir-fry that’s ready in just 15 minutes. Juicy shrimp are pan-seared and tossed in a vibrant sweet chili sauce for an irresistible weeknight dinner or appetizer.


Ingredients

  • pounds shrimp (20 to 25 count), peeled and deveined
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¾ teaspoon kosher salt
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • ¼ cup sweet chili sauce
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, toss the shrimp with minced garlic and kosher salt.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.
  3. Once hot, add the shrimp in a single layer. Cook for 2–3 minutes on each side, or until shrimp turn orange and opaque.
  4. Drizzle with sweet chili sauce and toss to coat.
  5. Season with additional salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Serve immediately with rice, noodles, or vegetables.

Notes

  • Use large or jumbo shrimp for best texture and presentation.
  • Add a squeeze of lime juice for brightness.
  • For extra heat, stir in a pinch of red pepper flakes or sriracha.
