Description

This high protein ice cream made with cottage cheese is a creamy and nutritious treat, perfect for summer. Using only three main ingredients, it’s quick to make, freezer-friendly, and can be customized with your favorite fruits.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups 2% cottage cheese (500g container)
  • 1 cup fruit of choice
  • 13 tablespoon honey (depending on sweetness preference)
  • Optional: 2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Optional: 1.5 medium bananas for a creamier texture

Instructions

  1. In a high-powered blender or food processor, add all ingredients and blend until smooth.
  2. Pour the blended cottage cheese mixture into a freezer-friendly container with a lid.
  3. Cover and freeze for at least 4 hours or until fully frozen.
  4. To serve, run an ice cream scoop under warm water to easily scoop out the ice cream and enjoy.

Notes

  • The texture will be creamiest if bananas are included.
  • Use any fruit you like—berries, mango, or peaches work well.
  • Adjust honey based on the sweetness of your chosen fruit.
  • This is a protein-packed, nutrient-dense treat that’s great post-workout or as a healthy dessert.
