Description

These Garlic Parmesan Wings are crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and coated in a rich blend of garlic, butter, and Parmesan cheese. Perfect for game day or a flavorful weeknight dinner, these wings will disappear fast!

Ingredients

    • 2 pounds chicken wings, cut into drumettes and wingettes
    • 2 tablespoons salted butter, melted
    • 2 teaspoons sea salt
    • 2 teaspoons dried parsley
    • 1½ teaspoons garlic powder
    • ½ teaspoon onion powder
    • ½ teaspoon dried basil
    • ½ teaspoon ground white pepper (or black pepper)

    • Garlic Parmesan Coating:
    • 6 tablespoons salted butter, melted
    • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
    • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • Optional Garnish:
  • Chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. For Baked Wings: Preheat oven to 425°F. Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment and place a rack on top. Spray the rack with nonstick spray.
  2. Pat wings dry with a paper towel and place in a large bowl. Drizzle with 2 tablespoons of melted butter and toss to coat.
  3. In a small bowl, mix sea salt, dried parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, dried basil, and white pepper. Sprinkle over wings and rub in gently.
  4. Arrange wings in a single layer on the prepared rack. Bake for 40–50 minutes, flipping halfway through, until wings reach an internal temperature of 165°F.
  5. While baking, mix the remaining 6 tablespoons of melted butter with minced garlic in a bowl.
  6. Remove baked wings from the oven and toss in the garlic butter mixture. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over the wings.
  7. Return wings to the oven for a few minutes until Parmesan is lightly browned.
  8. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with ranch dressing if desired.
  9. For Air Fryer Wings: Preheat air fryer to 400°F.
  10. Repeat seasoning and butter steps as above. Arrange wings in an even layer in the air fryer (cook in batches if needed).
  11. Air fry for 8–10 minutes per side, flipping halfway through, until wings reach 165°F internally.
  12. Toss wings in garlic butter, sprinkle with Parmesan, and air fry 2–3 more minutes until cheese is lightly browned.
  13. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.

Notes

  • Patting the wings dry ensures crispiness.
  • Don’t overcrowd the baking sheet or air fryer to allow even cooking.
  • Use freshly grated Parmesan for the best flavor.
  • Serve with ranch or blue cheese dressing for dipping.
