Description

These Garlic Butter Steak Bites are a quick and flavorful dish featuring tender steak pieces seared to perfection and tossed in a rich garlic butter sauce with fresh parsley and a hint of spice. Ready in just 20 minutes, this recipe makes an easy yet impressive meal perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Steak Bites

  • ½ tablespoon avocado oil
  • 2 pounds steak, cut into small bite-sized pieces
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Garlic Butter Sauce

  • 2 tablespoons butter or ghee
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¼ cup chopped parsley

Garnish

  • Green onion, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season the steak bites: In a bowl, combine the steak pieces with salt, freshly ground black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using). Stir well to ensure all pieces are evenly coated with the seasoning.
  2. Cook the steak: Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add avocado oil to the hot skillet, then add the seasoned steak bites in a single layer. Cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally to brown all sides. Depending on your skillet size, cook in batches to avoid overcrowding. Remove the browned steak from the pan and set aside.
  3. Prepare the garlic butter sauce: Wipe any excess moisture from the skillet. Add butter or ghee to the pan and melt over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn the garlic.
  4. Combine steak with sauce: Return the cooked steak bites to the skillet. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly to coat the steak evenly with the garlic butter sauce.
  5. Finish and serve: Remove the skillet from heat. Stir in the chopped parsley for freshness and color. Garnish with sliced green onions and serve immediately while hot and flavorful.

Notes

  • For best results, use a high-quality cut of steak like sirloin or ribeye for tenderness and flavor.
  • Red pepper flakes are optional; omit or adjust the quantity for less heat.
  • Be careful not to overcrowd the pan when searing the steak to ensure proper browning.
  • You can substitute butter with ghee for a slightly different flavor and higher smoke point.
  • Serve steak bites with a side of mashed potatoes, steamed vegetables, or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
