Description
Super Easy Fudge Brownies are a quick, foolproof dessert to satisfy your chocolate cravings. Rich and gooey with the perfect balance of sweetness, these brownies are always a hit!
Ingredients
- For the Brownies:
- 1 cup butter
- 2 cups sugar
- 4 eggs, lightly beaten
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2/3 cup cocoa powder
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 cup mini chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13″ baking pan or line with parchment paper, then set aside.
- Melt the butter: Melt the butter and allow it to cool slightly. Stir in the sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until fully combined.
- Mix dry ingredients: Add the cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder to the butter-sugar mixture. Use a sturdy wooden spoon or rubber spatula to stir gently until just combined. Be careful not to overmix, as this can make the brownies more cake-like instead of fudge-like.
- Add chocolate chips: Fold in the mini chocolate chips, then pour the batter into the prepared baking pan. Spread it out evenly.
- Bake: Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the center is set. Check by inserting a toothpick; it should come out with only a few moist crumbs.
- Cool and serve: Let the brownies cool slightly before slicing. Enjoy!
Notes
- Storage: Store leftover brownies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
- Reheating: Reheat in the microwave for 10-15 seconds to restore the fudgy texture.
- Variations:
- Nuts: Add chopped walnuts or pecans for a bit of crunch.
- Caramel: Drizzle caramel sauce over the brownies before baking for an extra layer of flavor.
- Mint: Add a few drops of peppermint extract for a mint-chocolate twist.
