This Edible Cookie Dough is a quick and safe-to-eat treat that comes together in just 10 minutes! Made without eggs and with heat-treated flour, it’s perfect for satisfying cookie dough cravings any time of day.
Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour*
- ½ cup Land O Lakes® Salted Butter in Half Sticks, softened
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 2 tablespoons whole milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ¾ cup mini chocolate chips
Instructions
- Place the flour in a microwave-safe bowl and heat in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F. This ensures the flour is safe to eat.
- Transfer the flour to a cool dish and refrigerate until completely cooled.
- In a mixing bowl, beat the softened butter, brown sugar, and sugar together with a hand mixer until light and fluffy.
- Mix in the milk and vanilla extract, scraping down the sides as needed.
- Add the cooled flour and mix until a smooth dough forms.
- Fold in the mini chocolate chips.
- Enjoy immediately, or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
