Description
These Easy Grape Jelly Meatballs are a sweet and spicy appetizer made with frozen turkey meatballs, grape jelly, barbecue sauce, and chili garlic sauce. Slow-cooked to juicy perfection, they’re ideal for parties, potlucks, or game day snacks.
Ingredients
- 32 oz frozen fully cooked turkey meatballs
- 1 cup grape jelly (e.g., Smuckers)
- 1½ cups barbecue sauce (e.g., Sweet Baby Ray’s)
- 2 tablespoons chili garlic sauce
Instructions
- Place frozen meatballs, grape jelly, barbecue sauce, and chili garlic sauce into the base of a slow cooker.
- Mix all ingredients together until well combined and meatballs are coated evenly.
- Cover and cook on low for 3–4 hours (or 4–5 hours if using larger meatballs), stirring halfway through.
- Once cooked, keep on warm setting until ready to serve. Garnish with chopped parsley or chives if desired.
Notes
- Omit chili garlic sauce for a sweeter, kid-friendly version.
- You can use beef meatballs instead of turkey if preferred.
- This recipe is easily scalable for larger or smaller slow cookers.
- Perfect served with toothpicks as an appetizer or over rice for a main dish.
