Description

Flaky crescent dough wraps around a creamy crab and cheese filling to create these delicious, bite-sized appetizers. Perfect for parties, game day snacks, or anytime you want a quick, savory treat.


Ingredients

1 (8 oz) can refrigerated crescent roll dough

1 cup cooked crab meat (fresh, canned, or imitation)

4 oz cream cheese, softened

2 Tbsp mayonnaise

2 green onions, finely chopped

1 tsp Old Bay or seafood seasoning

½ cup shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese

Salt and pepper, to taste

Optional garnish: chopped parsley or paprika


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 °F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, mayo, crab meat, green onions, seasoning, shredded cheese, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  3. Unroll crescent dough and separate into triangles.
  4. Spoon about 1 Tbsp of filling onto the wide end of each triangle.
  5. Roll into crescent shapes and place sealed-side down on the baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 12–15 minutes, until golden brown.
  7. Garnish with parsley or paprika if desired, and serve warm.

Notes

Use puff pastry for a flakier texture or form a crescent ring for presentation.

Substitute crab with shrimp or lobster for variety.

Add diced jalapeño or spinach for extra flavor and nutrition.

Brush with egg wash before baking for a shiny finish.

Use pepper jack cheese for a spicy twist.
