Description

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 tablespoons melted butter
  • 5 cups cornflakes
  • 1 ½ teaspoons dried parsley
  • ½ teaspoon thyme
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish with cooking spray.
  2. Crush the cornflakes into fine crumbs using a rolling pin or food processor. Add dried parsley and thyme, mix well, and transfer to a plate or shallow dish.
  3. In a medium bowl, whisk together the egg and milk. Then whisk in flour, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
  4. Season the chicken breasts with a pinch of salt and pepper. Dip each piece into the egg mixture, ensuring it is fully coated.
