This decadent 5-ingredient coffee mousse is rich, creamy, and quick to prepare. Made with espresso and dark chocolate, it’s a dreamy dessert for coffee lovers and perfect for make-ahead entertaining.
Ingredients
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup espresso or strong coffee, cooled
- 1/4 cup confectioners’ sugar
- 4 ounces dark chocolate, melted and cooled
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Set aside.
- In a separate bowl, combine the milk, cooled espresso, confectioners’ sugar, and melted chocolate. Mix until smooth.
- Gently fold the whipped cream into the coffee-chocolate mixture until fully incorporated.
- Divide the mousse into serving glasses or bowls.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until set.
Notes
- You can use decaffeinated coffee if preferred.
- To store: Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for up to 2 weeks.
- To freeze: Place in a freezer-safe container and freeze for up to 6 months. Thaw overnight in the fridge before serving.
