Description
These TikTok-famous cinnamon rolls with heavy cream are a delicious hack using frozen cinnamon rolls to create an ultra-gooey, bakery-style treat. Soaked in cream and topped with a buttery brown sugar glaze, no one will know they’re not homemade!
Ingredients
- 1 (36-ounce) bag Rhodes Thaw, Rise and Bake Cinnamon Rolls
- 2/3 cup heavy whipping cream
- 6 tablespoons salted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Cream cheese frosting (included with Rhodes cinnamon rolls)
Instructions
- Spray a 9×13-inch baking pan with nonstick cooking spray. Arrange all 12 frozen cinnamon rolls in the prepared pan.
- Cover with plastic wrap sprayed with cooking spray to prevent sticking. Thaw and rise using the method on the package (3–5 hours at room temp or overnight in the fridge for 8–16 hours).
- Once rolls have doubled in size, preheat oven to 350°F (177°C).
- Pour heavy cream evenly over the rolls and let it soak in for about 5 minutes.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together melted butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla extract. Pour over the rolls and spread evenly with an offset spatula.
- Bake uncovered for 30–35 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
- Let cool for 10 minutes, then frost with the included cream cheese frosting. Serve warm.
Notes
- For a faster version, use 2 (8-count) cans of Pillsbury Grands Original Cinnamon Rolls. Skip thawing/rising and begin from the preheating step. Bake for about 25 minutes.
- Letting the cream soak into the rolls helps make them ultra gooey and moist.
- Be sure not to skip the 10-minute cooling time—this helps the frosting spread smoothly without melting too fast.
