Description

This Last Minute Chocolate Pecan Fudge is rich, creamy, and irresistibly smooth. Made with just a few ingredients and ready in under 10 minutes, it’s the perfect quick treat for holidays, parties, or gifting. Add pecans for a delightful crunch and nutty finish.

Ingredients

  • 24 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips (about 4 cups)
  • 28 oz sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups pecans, divided (optional)

Instructions

  1. Line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper, letting it hang over the sides for easy removal. Set aside.
  2. In a large microwave-safe bowl, combine chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and butter.
  3. Microwave in 1-minute intervals, stirring after each round, until smooth and creamy (about 4 minutes total).
  4. Stir in vanilla and 1 cup of pecans, if using.
  5. Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
  6. Sprinkle remaining pecans over the top.
  7. Refrigerate until fully set, at least 2 hours.
  8. Cut into small squares and serve. Store in the fridge for best texture.

Notes

  • Use walnuts or almonds instead of pecans if desired.
  • For a festive touch, sprinkle sea salt or crushed peppermint on top before chilling.
  • Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
  • Wrap pieces in wax paper or candy wrappers for gifting.
