Ingredients
- 24 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips (about 4 cups)
- 28 oz sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups pecans, divided (optional)
Instructions
- Line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper, letting it hang over the sides for easy removal. Set aside.
- In a large microwave-safe bowl, combine chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and butter.
- Microwave in 1-minute intervals, stirring after each round, until smooth and creamy (about 4 minutes total).
- Stir in vanilla and 1 cup of pecans, if using.
- Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
- Sprinkle remaining pecans over the top.
- Refrigerate until fully set, at least 2 hours.
