Description

A creamy, savory pasta bake featuring Boursin garlic & herb cheese, fresh spinach, and cherry tomatoes. A comforting dish that’s easy to make and perfect for weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

  • For the Pasta Bake:
  • 1 Boursin cheese block (garlic & herb variety)
  • 1 pound uncooked pasta (penne, rigatoni, or shape of choice)
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes (halved)
  • 2 cups broth (vegetable or chicken)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to spice preference)
  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano
  • ½ teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 cups fresh spinach
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Assemble the Ingredients: In a large baking dish, place the Boursin cheese block in the center. Add the uncooked pasta, minced garlic, halved cherry tomatoes, and broth around the cheese. Drizzle olive oil over the ingredients.
  3. Season the Dish: In a separate bowl, combine red pepper flakes, dried oregano, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper. Sprinkle the spice mixture evenly over the pasta and cheese.
  4. Add Liquids: Pour the heavy cream and additional broth over the pasta mixture.
  5. Toss and Bake: Gently toss everything in the baking dish to ensure the pasta and ingredients are evenly coated with the cheese and cream. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the pasta is cooked and the cherry tomatoes are soft.
  6. Add Spinach and Parmesan: Remove the foil and stir in the fresh spinach until it wilts and combines with the pasta. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the top.
  7. Final Bake: Return the uncovered dish to the oven and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Serve: Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh basil leaves, if desired. Serve immediately and enjoy this creamy, savory Boursin cheese pasta bake!
