Ingredients
Bagel
- 1 bagel (Use your favorite bagel!)
Eggs
- 2 large eggs
- 1 egg white (optional)
- Salt & pepper, to taste
Cheese
- 1 slice cheese (Colby jack, Monterey jack, American, or cheddar)
Optional Additions
- Bacon, sausage, avocado, condiments, etc. (as desired)
Instructions
- Toast the bagel: Lightly toast the bagel to your desired crispness and set it aside while you prepare the eggs.
- Heat the skillet: Place a small skillet over low heat and coat it with a little butter or oil to prevent sticking and add flavor.
- Cook the eggs: Once the pan is hot, crack the eggs and add the optional egg white if using. Season with salt and pepper, then scramble by gently whisking every so often over low heat until cooked to your preferred consistency.
