These buttery, garlicky Air Fryer Mushrooms are tender, flavorful, and make the perfect topping for steak, burgers, or a delicious vegetarian side dish. Ready in just 25 minutes with air fryer and oven options!

Ingredients

    • 12 ounces mushrooms, sliced
    • 1 tablespoon olive oil
    • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • For Topping:
  • 3 tablespoons grass-fed butter
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 370°F (188°C).
  2. Place sliced mushrooms in a medium bowl. Toss with olive oil and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Spread mushrooms in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  4. Cook for 10 to 15 minutes, shaking halfway through, until mushrooms are tender and golden.
  5. Meanwhile, in a small skillet, melt the butter. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
  6. Remove from heat and stir in lemon juice and crushed red pepper flakes.
  7. Toss the cooked mushrooms with the garlic butter mixture.
  8. Garnish with chopped parsley, if desired. Serve warm.
  9. Oven Instructions: Preheat oven to 400°F (204°C). Season mushrooms as above and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Roast for 18–22 minutes until tender. Continue with garlic butter and garnish steps as above.
