- 12 ounces mushrooms, sliced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- For Topping:
- 3 tablespoons grass-fed butter
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 370°F (188°C).
- Place sliced mushrooms in a medium bowl. Toss with olive oil and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Spread mushrooms in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- Cook for 10 to 15 minutes, shaking halfway through, until mushrooms are tender and golden.
- Meanwhile, in a small skillet, melt the butter. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
- Remove from heat and stir in lemon juice and crushed red pepper flakes.
- Toss the cooked mushrooms with the garlic butter mixture.
- Garnish with chopped parsley, if desired. Serve warm.
- Oven Instructions: Preheat oven to 400°F (204°C). Season mushrooms as above and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Roast for 18–22 minutes until tender. Continue with garlic butter and garnish steps as above.
